Abstract
Canada thistle is perennial deep-rooting weed.On the arable land there caused some problems:compete to cultivated crops, make more difficult harvest and lowers quality of products. Possibilities of control were evaluated at V farm Křepiny with respact to possibilities of chemical control. In cereal field were used selective and non-selektive herbicides during the vegetation period, before harvest and ofter harvest. Ofter herbicide control were evaluated decrease of Canada thistle plants.
