Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

2016 Cy Young winners: Max Scherzer celebrated aboard a boat off the British Virgin Islands, doused by college pals on a floating party. Rick Porcello enjoyed the moment at his parents' home in New Jersey, surrounded by family, friends and a few bottles of wine. Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer beats out a couple of Cubs to win the second Cy Young Award of his career. From a boat in the British Virgin Islands, Scherzer called win number two, special...Chicago pitchers Jon Lester and Kyle Hendricks were in second and third place respectively......but it wasn't really close with Scherzer scoring 25 of the 30 first-place votes...Scherzer led the majors in strikeouts and the national league in wins with 20.He also won in 2013 when he was pitching for the Detroit Tigers.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
