This research investigates the effectiveness of sexual violence prevention programs on Canadian college and university campuses using a quantitative methodology via an online survey. The study involved 26 student participants from various higher education programs. Findings indicate low awareness of these programs, particularly in education on consent, healthy relationships, and reporting procedures. Key areas for improvement include fostering cultural sensitivity, engaging male students, and incorporating collaborative student input to address inequities and enhancing program effectiveness. Respondents recommended creating culturally sensitive and gender- inclusive campaigns to reduce isolation and foster safety for underrepresented students. Practice recommendations include connecting sexual violence prevention programs with student clubs representing diverse groups to evaluate their needs and ensuring tailored, culturally responsive programming. These findings underscore the importance of aligning prevention initiatives with the unique needs of underrepresented populations to promote equity, improve engagement, and strengthen the overall impact of sexual violence prevention efforts on campuses.
