Pk-yrityksen sähköisen liiketoiminnan hyödyntämisen esteet

Abstract
Tässä tutkielmassa tutkitaan pk-yritystä ja sähköistä liiketoimintaa, sekä erityisesti pk-yritysten ominaispiirteitä ja niiden kohtaamia esteitä sähköisen liiketoiminnan aloittamisessa. Pk-yrityksellä tarkoitetaan EU:n määrittämää yritystä, jossa työskentelee alle 250 henkilöä ja jonka vuosiliikevaihto on alle 50 miljoonaa euroa ja taseen loppusumma alle 43 miljoonaa euroa. Sähköinen liiketoiminta mielletään elektronisen liiketoimintatavan hyödyntämiseksi kokonaisvaltaisesti yrityksen liiketoiminnassa. Tavoitteena tutkielmassa on löytää suurimpia esteitä pk-yritysten eliiketoimintaan ryhtymisessä ja tuoda esiin, miten nämä esteet sopivat löydettyihin pk-yritysten ominaispiirteisiin. Aihe rajataan tutkielmassa Suomen pkyrityksiin, jotka eivät ole vielä mukana sähköisessä liiketoiminnassa. Aihetta käsitellään kirjauskatsauksen muodossa. Tutkimuksen tuloksena ovat ensinnäkin pk-yrityksen ominaispiirteet, joita ovat esimerkiksi keskittynyt päätöksenteko, joustavuus ja johdon suuri vaikutus päätöksiin. Tulokseksi saadaan lisäksi esteet, joita pk-yritys kohtaa harkitessaan e-liiketoimintaan lähtemistä. Suurimpia esteitä ovat yleinen resurssien puute, johdon negatiivinen asenne ja yhteistyökumppanien poisjäänti. Tutkielmassa ilmi tulleet esteet osoittavat, että hyvin monet pk-yrityksen kohtaamista esteistä ovat ominaisia niiden luontaisille piirteille.
