Abstract
В настоящей статье рассматриваются вопросы периодизации и семантической категоризации французских заимствований в английском языке Канады. На основе данных Словаря канадизмов на исторических принципах и Оксфордского словаря показаны тенденции в частотности и тематической принадлежности французских заимствований с 1585 по 2024 год, а также описана их связь с важнейшими событиями канадской истории.
