Abstract
La presente investigación instrumental tuvo como objetivo determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la escala de Alexitimia de Toronto en estudiantes universitarios del distrito de Lima, en una muestra de 430 estudiantes; las pruebas de adecuación muestral arrojan valores de KMO de .89 y un p-valor estadísticamente significativo (p<.01) en la prueba de esfericidad de Bartlett. Presenta una varianza explicada total de 46.01% con tres factores. Las cargas factoriales se encuentran entre .31 a .67. Asimismo presenta una confiabilidad general de .93 obtenida mediante el método de alfa ordinal.
