A fall leaf colour walk through Kitchener, Ontario’s, Rosemount neighbourhood, including Archer Place, A da and Smithson Streets, Belleview Ave, Niagara and Manchester Roads, Shantz and Forfar Park s . Bordered by the Conestoga Parkway, the Stanley Park Conservation Area, Ottawa Street North and Victoria Street East , Rosemount neighbour is named after A braham L. Shantz's Rosemount Dairies. located at 71 Edna Street, and for whom Shantz Park, at the corner of Manchester and River Roads, was named. The City of Kitchener annexed the future neighbourhood from Waterloo Township in 1952, 1958 and 1960. Smithson Public School opened in 1954; nearby Rosemount Public School was demolished and replaced with a French language high school that opened in 2019. Reformation Lutheran Church (1956-2018), St. James Rosemount United Church (1956-present), and the Krug Street plaza (circa 1963) are neighbourhood landmarks.
