Search for radiative b,-hadron decays in pp collisions at √s=1.8 TeV
Bibliographic record
Abstract
We have performed a search for radiative b-hadron decays using events produced in pp̅ collisions at √s=1.8 TeV and collected by the Collider Detector at Fermilab. The decays we considered were B̅d0→K*0(→K-π+) γ, B̅s0→φ(→K+K-) γ, Λb0→ Λ(→pπ-) γ, and their charge conjugates. Two independent methods to identify photons from such decays were employed. In the first method, the photon was detected in the electromagnetic calorimeter. In the second method, the photon was identified by an electron-positron pair produced through the external photon conversion before the tracking detector volume. By combining the two methods we obtain upper limits on the branching fractions for the Bd0, B̅s0, and Λb0 radiative decays which, at the 95% confidence level, are found to be B( B̅d0→K*0 γ)<1.4×10-4, B(B̅s0→φ γ)<1.6×10-4, and B( Λb0→ Λ γ)<1.9×10-3.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
