Abstract
There's been a shooting near Chicago's just opened elevated trail and park system known as The 606, or Bloomingdale Trail. The Tribune quotes police as saying an officer fired at a man after he pointed a gun at them early Sunday morning in Logan Square, in the 17-hundred block of North Talman, which about a block from one of the trail's entrances. No one was hurt. A few people could be seen walking and biking along The 606, which just opened Saturday, while officers blocked off the street with police tape. Rafael Corona's now charged with several several gun-related felonies, including aggravated assault of an officer, and public drinking. Police say says gang members were hanging out in the area before the shooting happened.
