Abstract
This is a quarter leather binding that belongs to the Engineering Library and is available to scholars in the reading room collection. In its current condition, the upper cover and fly leaf are completely detached. The lower cover is partially attached at one sewing support. In general, the leather suffers from red rot. This book cannot be handled safely by scholars without suffering further damage. Therefore, conservation treatment was conducted to reattach the loose covers, consolidate the red rotted leather and repair the torn front endsheet.
