Abstract
The Aboriginal Music program in Manitoba is unique to North America. Aboriginal Music Program Director,\nErrol Ranville's approach is to nurture our Aboriginal artists and develop their talents starting from the\ngrassroots level. Young up and comers, along with struggling veterans, are making the connections they\nneed in the music industry, through the support of the Aboriginal Music Program.\nThis episode of the Sharing Circle focuses on Errol Ranville's life and how he is giving back to a community\nthat has supported him throughout his career as well as the impact of the Aboriginal Music Program, and\nhow it is changing the way people look at the industry. The initiatives of the Aboriginal Music Program are\nadvancing the Aboriginal music industry at a lightning pace. An industry that is decades behind will soon be\nrevealed, whether society is ready for it or not.
