Abstract
À une époque de surconsommation des ressources territoriales, il est crucial de mettre en oeuvre des modèles agricoles et agroalimentaires qui permettront de nourrir une population mondiale en croissance tout en conservant le patrimoine humain et écologique. Les politiques coloniales de gestion du territoire et le développement des grandes plantations, en particulier celles de palmier à huile, ont contribué à modifier le paysage et à remodeler en profondeur les territoires occupés par de nombreuses communautés locales en Malaysia. Plus particulièrement, ce mémoire s’intéresse aux communautés ibannes du Sarawak dans une perspective de recherche de solutions afin d’assurer un meilleur accès à la terre.
