Abstract
Actualmente el Cooperativismo se ha desarrollado en nuestro país llegando a \nocupar un lugar importante dentro de las Instituciones Financieras ya que brindan \nmás seguridad y confianza. \nDebido a la necesidad de contar con una Institución que brinde todas las \nfacilidades para el desarrollo económico de una parte de la población del Valle de \nlos Chillos se inicia la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Luz del Valle Cía. \nLtda. creada con el fin de satisfacer la creciente demanda de otorgar créditos a \ncorto, mediano y largo plazo así como captar recursos financieros en forma \noportuna. \nLa Auditoría de Gestión realizada consta de 6 capítulos que a continuación se \nresume: \nEn el capítulo 1 se presenta los organismos de control de la Cooperativa entre los \nque se encuentran el Ministerio de Inclusión Económica y Social, Consejo \nCooperativo Nacional, Servicio de Rentas Internas, Instituto Ecuatoriano de \nSeguridad Social, Defensoría del Pueblo y se rige por la Ley Nacional de \nCooperativas, Ley de Régimen Tributario Interno, Ley de Seguridad Social, Ley \nOrgánica de Defensa al Consumidor, Código de Trabajo, Estatutos, Reglamentos \ne Instructivos de la Cooperativa. \nNace por la iniciativa de 17 forjadores y forjadoras de la zona quienes se agrupan \ny con el liderazgo del Sr. Julio Gualotuña buscan formar una entidad financiera \nque ofrezca facilidades y oportunidades de superación así como solución a sus \nproblemas socio económicos tal es así que el 4 de septiembre del 2002 inician \nsus actividades.
