Abstract
La sobreexplotación de los recursos marinos y la utilización de los océanos como \nvertederos de la actividad humana han llevado a un estado de deterioro de los fondos y \necosistemas marinos que hace pensar en la necesidad de crear instrumentos de \nprotección y conservación de los fondos marinos. \nEl Trabajo de Fin de Grado pretende analizar la viabilidad de la creación de una reserva \nmarina en el suroeste de la isla de La Gomera. Para ello, se realizará una investigación \nde la situación de los ecosistemas marinos de la isla, analizando su fauna y sus fondos, y \nun estudio de la actividad y la sobreexplotación pesquera en La Gomera y en Canarias. \nAdemás, se realizará una propuesta de localización, delimitación, niveles de \nconservación y usos de la reserva marina.
