Alexitimia y autolesiones en un grupo de escolares de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract
Esta investigación indaga acerca de las características de las autolesiones y la alexitimia en escolares de cuarto y quinto de secundaria del distrito de Tahuantinsuyo ubicado en Lima, Perú. Asimismo, se indagó la relación entre estos dos constructos. La muestra fue de adolescentes hombres y mujeres que fluctuaban entre los 15 y los 19 años de edad. El promedio de edad fue de 16 años y la desviación estándar de 0.925. Se les aplicó grupalmente una adaptación de la Cédula de Indicadores Parasuicidas para recoger la información referida a las autolesiones y la TAS 20 (Toronto Alexithymia Scale) para medir los niveles de alexitimia. Con respecto a las autolesiones se halló que más de un 20 las había cometido aunque sea una vez en su vida, que las que lo habían hecho eran en su mayoría mujeres y que dos desencadenantes de dichos actos eran los problemas familiares y el estado de ánimo depresivo. En cuanto a la medición de la alexitimia, se \npudo notar que la TAS 20, a pesar de ser confiable para nuestra muestra, presenta \nciertas dificultades, sobre todo en cuanto al factor 3. Los resultados demuestran que la alexitimia si se encuentra relacionada a las autolesiones, pero que existen otras variables que influyen en esa relación.
