La tesi dottorale presenta un’analisi de “Il saggio nel suo ritiro” di Elisabetta Caminer Turra, traduzione settecentesca del dramma “El sabio en su retiro y villano en su rincón, Juan Labrador” di Juan de Matos Fragoso (refundición di “El villano en su rincón” di Félix Lope de Vega), attraverso la comparazione diretta con la coeva mediazione francese “Le sage dans sa retraite” di Simon-Nicolas Henri Linguet, proponendo uno studio traduttologico che si avvale della prospettiva critica dell’intertestualità.
