Bibliographic record
Abstract
\naffinis. --ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to look at the importance of hydrodynamics in the \nspatial distribution of a population of copepod in the Middle St. Lawrence Estuary. To do \nthis, we used a 3D numerical model of the region. Real trajectories obtained from surface \ndrifters have been successfully compared to modeled trajectories. Then, multiple \ntrajectories have been generated to compute finite-time Lyapunov exponents. The results \nof this computation have shown that hydrodynamics must be an important factor in \nmaintaining the separation between the two clades of the copepod Eurytemora affinis. The \ntwo genetically different clades are separated by a ridge of high FTLE values, which is \nassumed to be a barrier to transport. This barrier, which appears one hour after high tide, is \npersistent for 3 to 4 ho urs during every ebb tide. We also computed the FTLE for tracers \nwith vertical migration based on the tidal cycle. This behavior increases the residence time \nof the tracers near Ile aux Grues and changes the distribution of the barri ers to transport. \nHowever, our model results showed that more detailed empirical data on swimming \nbehavior is necessary to evaluate the impact of swimming behavior on the distribution of E. \naffinis.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
