Abstract
En lugar de concebir los museos como impersonales transmisores de arriba abajo de la doxa consagrada, la museología crítica reivindica los puntos de vista y discursos plurales. Así responden las últimas teorías y prácticas museísticas al reto de nuestras actuales sociedades multiculturales. Este artículo presenta algunos ejemplos de un país fervientemente multicultural, Canadá, particularmente en una urbe famosa por su perfil cultural, y en la provincia de Columbia Británica, cuya universidad es mundialmente reconocida como un punto nodal de la museología crítica.
