Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivos analizar la incidencia del ascenso de Jair Bolsonaro en la integración sudamericana, fundamentalmente en los casos de Unasur y Mercosur. Entendiendo que el retroceso del multilateralismo y el ascenso de los nuevos gobiernos de derecha a nivel mundial y regional, se encuentran fuertemente relacionados, nos centraremos en el accionar del nuevo presidente brasileño, su visión acerca de la política mundial, la construcción de alianzas y el papel otorgado a la integración regional, ámbito en el que Brasil se desatacaría durante los últimos años. Así abordaremos la crisis que viven estas organizaciones, sus factores y consecuencias en la región, junto al retroceso del interés brasileño por consolidar espacios de dialogo y el crecimiento en los países vecinos de gobiernos menos proclives a la concertación política.
