Objetivo: Determinar si la edad, el sexo, el grado de instrucción materna y paterna, la procedencia, el año de estudios, el IMC, el consumo de alcohol, el tabaquismo, el antecedente de trauma infantil y/o la actividad física son factores asociados de alexitimia en estudiantes de medicina de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego durante el semestre 2019 - 2. Material y métodos: Este estudio tipo corte transversal fue aplicado a los estudiantes de medicina de cada año de estudio de la Escuela de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego del semestre 2019-2. Los datos se obtuvieron gracias a una encuesta virtual elaborada para el estudio, donde se incluyeron la Escala de Alexitimia de Toronto (TAS-20) y el Test de identificación de desórdenes relacionados con el consumo de alcohol acortado (AUDIT-C) para la determinación de alexitimia y consumo de alcohol respectivamente. El resto de variables se abordaron, de forma directa e indirecta, mediante las preguntas de nuestra encuesta.
