Abstract
De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Raadsleden en de Vereniging van Griffiers gaan hun krachten bundelen. Een mooi initiatief, met inwonersparticipatie als een van de speerpunten. Als volksvertegenwoordigers hebben raadsleden een belangrijke rol in het contact met de samenleving. Het is echter verstandig dat het college en de ambtenarij leidend zijn in het organiseren van burgerparticipatie bij grote projecten.
