Abstract
La Tercera carlinada és un conflicte àmpliament estudiat, sobretot pel que fa als aspectes militars. No obstant això, encara disposem de dades documentals inèdites que n’aporten nova llum Concretament, el fons de la Comandància d’Enginyers conservat parcialment a l’ACA (Arxiu de la Corona d’Aragó) conté informacions de gran interès, com ara l’informe que transcrivim a continuació, que donen una visió de detall d’aquesta contesa bèl·lica, terriblement sagnant i violenta, el resultat de la qual, sens dubte, ajudà a configurar l’estructura política de l’actual Estat espanyol.
