Ce texte tend à mettre en lumière le travail de recherche poursuivit au cours de la maîtrise en art ainsi que l'exposition qu'il accompagne. Le lecteur est invité à suivre le parcours de la présente recherche, selon la perspective heuristique, par laquelle l'orientation et l'organisation du sens sont élaborées à travers le processus d'écriture du mémoire. Ce dernier, structuré à la manière d'un essai, vise d'une part, à démontrer comment le détournement du sens de l'objet du quotidien découle des procédés de reproduction de l'objet et de sa mise en espace dans une pratique d'installation. D'autre part, l'élaboration de cette recherche nous amènera à saisir en quoi ce détournement contribue à contourner les conventions qui déterminent, dans le réel, le sens d'un objet par sa fonction utilitaire. La recherche est, à l'origine, motivée par le caractère conflictuel du rapport : fiction/réel. Aussi, le cadre théorique est établi au cours d'une réflexion sur la perception phénoménologique du réel qui s'ouvre sur l'étude descriptive du processus d'élaboration du travail de création. Cette analyse poïétique permet d'identifier des figures significatives. Enfin, nous aborderons les notions du vide et de la présence, corrélatives au travail de mise en espace des objets. L'observation de ces notions installatoires d'un point de vue esthétique engagera une réflexion sur la perception du spectateur éprouvant ainsi la pertinence des hypothèses préalablement avancées. Nous verrons alors que le sens des objets présentés est non seulement détourné lors de la fabrication de ceux-ci mais qu'il est également relatif aux méthodes de mises en espace déployées lors de l'installation en galerie. \n
