Abstract
Prevalensi kejadian Penyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) di kota padang terus mengalami peningkatan. Padang menempati peringkat ke-10 dengan penderita PJK terbanyak di Indonesia. Manifestasi klinis dari PJK adalah angina pektoris. Salah satu upaya dalam meminimalisir angina pektoris adalah dengan manajemen diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan manajemen diri dengan derajat angina pektoris pada pasien penyakit jantung koroner di poliklinik jantung RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan 106 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Coronary self management scale (CSMS) dan klasifikasi derajat angina pektoris Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS). Hasil analisa univariat menunjukkan manajemen diri penderita berada pada rentang baik dan derajat terbanyak pada derajat angina II. Uji analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Sommers’d Gamma menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara manajemen diri dengan derajat angina pektoris dengan significance 0,000 (α<0,005), artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara manajemen diri dengan derajat angina pektoris dengan kekuatan hubungan 0.95 (sangat kuat). Diharapkan pihak Rumah Sakit melalui tenaga kesehatan dapat meningkatkan edukasi kesehatan dalam upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan yang adekuat terkait manajemen diri penderita penyakit jantung koroner.
