Abstract
Objective: The objective of the following case is to analyze how the use of the Quickie Q-700 SEDEO Ergo electric wheelchair with R-Net influences the meaningful activities of a user with quadriplegia. Methods: The biomechanical and rehabilitation reference frameworks were applied, together with the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance (CMOP), to assess and improve meaningful activities for the user, such as functional mobility, social participation and access to digital leisure. Conclusion: The results demonstrated significant improvements in mobility and reduction of physical effort, which contributed to increased social participation. The use of the electric wheelchair enabled the user to move autonomously, favoring their independence and assisting in the process of reintegration into their routine in their environment, with the ultimate purpose of increasing their quality of life.
