Abstract
Ortaçağda kadın ve kadın algısını detaylı bir şekilde bizlere sunan bu çalışma 5 ciltten oluşmaktadır. Dönemsel olarak her cildi farklı dönemlerdeki kadını anlatmaktadır. II. cilt ise Ortaçağ Avrupası’nda yaşan kadını ele almaktadır. II. cilt olan eser, 4. ve 15. yüzyılları arasında Avrupa toplumundaki kadın algısını sunmaktadır. Editörleri tarafından da izah edildiği gibi bir feminist çalışma olarak çok fazla değinilmeyen “Kadın” teması üzerinden erkek cinsini, Ortaçağ toplumundaki kadın algısını, manipüle edilme gerekçeleri, var olan algının gizli aktörleri, kadının toplumdaki değişken olan pozisyonu, kadın algısını yönlendiren kadın örnekleri, dönemin edebi eserleri gibi konular hakkında bizlere geniş bilgiler sunmaktadır.
