Abstract
Les vingt deuxièmes réunions du Comité intergouvernemental des hauts fonctionnaires et experts (CIE) pour l'Afrique de l'Ouest s'est ouverte le 1 mai 2019 au Libéria sous le thème ; Dynamiques démographiques pour le développement durable en Afrique de l'Ouest : enjeux et mesures politiques. Les délégués discutent des récents développements régionaux et internationaux susceptibles d'avoir un impact sur le développement économique et social des pays d'Afrique de l'Ouest ; identifier les défis majeurs et proposer des orientations politiques pour aider à accélérer le développement durable dans la sous-région. Cette session de la CIE a été précédée d'une réunion du groupe d'experts ad hoc du 6 au 7 mai 2019, sur le thème ; Capacités et mécanismes nationaux d'évaluation des progrès dans la mise en œuvre des agendas 2030 et 2063 : bilan, défis et perspectives en Afrique de l'Ouest.
