Abstract
Le 28 avril 2023, l’ARES (Académie de Recherche et d’Enseignement Supérieur) organisait une journée rassemblant les mondes politique, académique et professionnel autour de la création d bachelier en AEJE en FWB. Notre conférence rend compte du point de vue de la recherche en explicitant les conceptions de l'enfance sous jacentes à la création et la transformation des formations liées à l'accueil de l'enfance en FWB et en les inscrivant dans leur contexte historique et sociétal. Elle montre la nécessité de reconnaitre la complexité de l'activité au service d'une approche holistique de l'éducation (educare). Elle souligne l'importance de conditions de professionnalisation.
