Abstract
The study of testaments as reflex of popular religiosity produces effects since in the Seventies French Historicians\nwould raise the question. At the same time they got to the bottom of the loss of religious customs in Modern\nAge which was observed through these documents. The professing of faith, dispositions about exequies and\nplace of burial turn into steps inside the context of the document in which the perceptive clauses about the\nfamily and the economical situation of the maker take importance.\nThe present article tries to approach to the reflex of the family composition through the testaments and the\nsentimental and economical entails that joined them. And this taking as reference the village of Mijas during\nthe second quarter of the XVIIIth century.
