Le transfert des compétences représente l’enjeu principal de tout programme de formation à l’enseignement. Les compétences professionnelles développées pendant la formation initiale trouvent leur contexte de transfert durant le stage. Toutefois, les novices en enseignement font face à de nombreuses difficultés. Cette recherche qualitative avait pour objectif d’étudier ce processus à partir des déclarations de dix étudiants stagiaires du Centre de Formation pour l’Enseignement Fondamental (CFEF) de Martissant en Haïti. Un schéma d’entrevue semi-dirigée était adressé aux participants et portait sur les compétences transférées par les stagiaires en planification de l’enseignement, en gestion des apprentissages, sur la place de la pratique réflexive, les défis rencontrés dans ce processus et les moyens utilisés pour les surmonter. Les résultats ont permis d’identifier des types de défis ayant rapport avec les domaines de compétence choisis pour une prise en compte des retombées de nombreux facteurs sur le processus de transfert dont notamment l’expérience de la pratique réflexive.
