Abstract
Bernard Delpal est historien, professeur à l'Université de Lyon. Membre de l'Institut d'Histoire du Christianisme, il est aussi directeur de recherche au C.N.R.S.. En avril 1998, il était l'invité du Laboratoire de géographie historique de l'Université Laval, composante du Centre interuniversitaire d'études québécoises, lequel associe également l'Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, pour une session de travail intensive sur le projet « Paroisse ». En plus de participer aux activités régulières du Centre, Bernard Delpal a présenté un exposé sur un aspect particulier de ses travaux. Nous sommes honorés d'en faire état dans ces pages.
