Abstract
Laporan Arus Kas menyajikan informasi keuangan perusahaan yang tidak \ndimuat oleh Neraca dan Laporan Laba Rugi. Bagi pihak internal dan eksternal \nperusahaan laporan arus kas membantu untuk menilai kinerja perusahaan dalam \nmenghasilkan arus kas di masa yang akan datang, menilai kemampuan perusahaan \ndalam memenuhi kewajibannya dan penilaian atas alasan perbedaan antara laba \nbersih dan kas bersih. \nPada laporan arus kas PT. Guna Mandiri Prima Medan, arus kas secara \nkeseluruhan meningkat pada tabun 2006 dibandingkan tahun 2005. Hal ini berarti \nperusahaan mempunyai arus kas yang baik karena bila arus kas dari aktivitas \noperasi meningkat maka kita dapat mengetahui bahwa kemampuan perusahaan \ndalam memenuhi likuiditas perusahaannya meningkat sedangkan apabila dari \naktivitas investasi dan pendanaan maka perusahaan dapat memenuhi solvabilitas \ndan fleksibilitas keuangannya serta melakukan ekspansi perusahaan. Analisis \nterhadap laporan arus kas PT. Guna Mandiri Prima Medan dilakukan untuk \nmelihat informasi yang dihasilkan oleh laporan arus kas dan terungkap bahwa arus \nkas dari aktivitas operasi meningkat pada tahun 2006. \nUntuk itu perusahaan harus tetap mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan \njumlah arus kas positif dari aktivitas operasi yang terjadi pada bhun 2006.
