Abstract
"En 1977, Camille Laurin, appuyé par ses sous-ministres Guy Rocher et Fernand Dumont, propose au nom du gouvernement Lévesque un projet appelé à «établir historiquement un peuple de manière qu'il ne soit plus vulnérable à la dissolution». La Charte de la langue française, communément appelée la loi 101, entendait alors faire du français la langue commune du Québec. Depuis, ses dispositions les plus structurantes, voire des chapitres entiers de cette loi, ont été déclarées inconstitutionnelles.
