Au Canada, la pandémie de Covid-19 a soulevé une foule de questions chez les enseignants qui ont dû se tourner vers l’évaluation à distance. Afin de les inspirer, notre équipe a catégorisé les activités d’évaluation à l’Université TÉLUQ. Pour ce faire, plus de 3 000 d’entre elles ont été analysées à l’aide d’un outil d’analyse développé par Gérin-Lajoie et al. (2020) qui permet de caractériser 20 composantes des activités d’évaluation. Parmi ces activités d’évaluation, nous savons entre autres que : 1) les exercices et les examens sont les activités d’évaluation les plus fréquentes, 2) les activités d’évaluation comprennent principalement des consignes en format texte sur le site web du cours, 3) les enseignants offrent surtout un soutien à la demande à leurs étudiants, 4) la rétroaction est essentiellement donnée aux étudiants sous forme de texte. Néanmoins, deux questions importantes demeurent et feront l’objet de cette communication. Certaines activités d’évaluation conduisent-elles les étudiants à de meilleurs résultats scolaires ? Existe-t-il des activités d’évaluation qui les amènent à persévérer davantage dans leurs études ? C’est à ces questions que nous répondrons dans le cadre de cette communication afin d’inspirer les participants dans la mise en place de leurs propres activités d’évaluation.
