Locusts, Roaches, And Ants: The Music Of The Web Reviewing Community
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In the mid-to-late 90s, various independent writers began reviewing music online. These gradually formed a lose community through linking to and commenting on each others pages. Today, many of these websites have either expired or been taken down, with MarkPrindle.com existing as a notable exception, and the Discord And Rhyme podcast existing as a notable offshoot. Many of the music reviewers were amateur musicians themselves, and so the decision was made to make a compilation album. Officially listed as "Vol. 1", there was no "Vol. 2". Tracklist: 1. The Other Leading Brand - "Ritalin Rock (Purity Of Essence)" 2. Steve Knowlton And The Knowl-Tones - "Saskatchewan" 3. Willie Simpson - "Dead In 41" 4. Disclaimer - "Hell" 5. Mike Kozak - "Walk Me Home" 6. Adam Johansson & Joel Larsson - "Gamie Klassiker" 7. Monkey Syndicate - "Heterosapiens" 8. Mark Prindle "Jogging Is the Bestest/A Guy Said My Web Site Is Overrated (Why Does Everybody Hate Me So Much?)/My Songs Would Be Significantly Less Sucky If I Bothered to Save Up for More Powerful Recording Equipment" 9. Daniel Fjall - "The Drapes" 10. Poly Lite Plus - "Fun Festival" 11. The Hector Collectors - "Tantric New Romantic" 12. Physical Illusion - "The Open Window" 13. Joe Hinchcliffe - "Mercury's Star"

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
