Abstract
In several West African societies, the customs and traditions of different population groups encourage the movement of children between related members. This is a practice which consists of having one's child entrusted to a close relative for various reasons. The child's access to a better education is generally the main reason for placing him in the care of his parents. Today we are seeing a significant change in major cities. More and more children find themselves on the streets in search of sustenance. Many, in complete separation from their guardian family, live and sleep there. In this study, we will show a change in society's view of the traditional practice of child circulation which has changed in the face of the emergence of new cultures. The practice of traditional fostering, which once provided security for children, has today become an obstacle to their education and development. Many children in large cities in West African countries are marginalized and end up on the streets in search of subsistence through begging.
