Abstract
The application of mass data capture systems in the topographic surveys of the Roman circus of Tarragona improves and facilitates our overall understanding of a building covering 4 hectares, much of which is hidden below the historical quarter of the modern town. This task constitutes the starting point for the overall understanding of the processes and construction techniques of an entertainment complex with standard features, but conditioned by the need to insert it in to the urban framework of the Concilium Prouinciae Hispaniae Citerioris monumental complex.
