Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This wooden passenger vessel was built in 1886 at West Bay City, Michigan by F. W. Wheeler. She was placed on the Inman Line in 1888, making bi-weekly trips between Duluth and Port Arthur. About 1889 she was sold to Arnold Transit Co. of Mackinac Island and placed on the Mackinac-Sault Ste. Marie route after being lengthened to 153 feet. She was sold in 1899 to Algoma Central Railroad running between Toledo, Ohio and Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. with "King Edward." She was sold Canadian in 1901 and in 1906 was listed on the Sandusky -Pelee route. Chatham Nav. Co. of Chatham, Ont. owned the "Ossifrage" from 1913-1919. She was reported sunk by an ocean tramp on the St. Lawrence River (Northumberland Straits) Sept. 19, 1919.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
