Perkerasan jalan merupakan salah satu faktor penunjang terwujudnya jalan rayayang mantap, aspal beton/laston, adalah salah satu jenis perkerasan yang sering digunakan karena jenis perkerasan ini memiliki stabilitas dan fleksibilitas, bahan penyusun aspal beton /Ashpalt Concrete terdiri dari agregat kasar, sedang, halus dan filler, pada studi ini filler yang digunakan adalah abu sekam padi, filler Jenis ini dinilai memiliki nilai ekonomis dan mudah didapat, studi ini di tujukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh filler abu sekam padi terhadap kekuatan struktural ashpalt concrete wearing course pada spesifikasi jalan Bina Marga 2010, metode pengujian menggunakan metode bina marga komposisi optimum diketahui 22% agregat kasar (10 - 20 mm), 29% agregat sedang (5 – 10 mm), 45% agregat halus (0 – 5 mm) dan 4% filler abu sekam padi dengan kadar aspal 6,7%, stabilitas sisa 71,35%
