Abstract
Entre la réponse attendue par l’enseignant et celle livrée par l’étudiant, le décalage peut être important, et ce, simplement en raison de la formulation des consignes. Ce constat a amené les auteurs à proposer une méthode d’analyse et de conception des questions à développement assortie d’un guide d’analyse destiné à l’étudiant. Cette démarche, alimentée par la psychologie cognitive, la pragmatique et la grammaire textuelle, permet de valider un énoncé de question et de mettre au point un solutionnaire en adéquation avec la question posée. Ultimement, la tâche de correction et la rétroaction aux étudiants s’en trouveront facilitées. L’article présente les composantes d’une question à développement, puis montre une méthode visant à valider la qualité de l’énoncé. Les auteurs nous proposent ensuite de porter une attention particulière aux verbes d’action et à leur définition. Ils nous outillent ensuite afin de nous permettre de décortiquer les questions à développement grâce à un schéma d’analyse en cinq éléments. L’article s’attarde enfin à l’élaboration du solutionnaire et à la formation des étudiants.
