Abstract
O projecto Sistema Portátil para Medição de Sinais Vitais foi o resultado de uma \nparceria entre o Departamento de Física da Unversidade de Coimbra e a empresa ISA. O \nprojecto teve a partição dos alunos Emeline Gonçalves, Ricardo Martins e Tiago Marçal e \nforam orientados, principalmente, pelo professor Carlos Correia, pelo professor José Basílio \nSimões e o enginheiro Paulo Santos. \nAo longo deste documento é descrita a estratégia seguida para o desenvolvimento do \nprojecto. Inicialmente, o aluno tomou contacto com novos conceitos e novas tecnologias úteis \npara um posterior desenvolvimento das tarefas solicitadas. A aprendizagem recaiu na \naprendizagem de programação em C, o que são microcontroladores e a construcção de \nprojectos de programação para microcontroladores baseados em exemplos. Já depois de \nfinalizada esta apredizagem entendeu-se que também seria útil aprender conceitos sobre a \ntecnologia de comunicação wireless Zigbee. \nApós o período inicial de assimilação de conceitos, procedeu-se à formulação de toda a \ndocumentação necessária, Visão e Objectivos, Análise de Requisitos e Arquitectura do \nSistema, para melhor enquadrar o nosso projecto à realidade actual. Esta documentação, para \nalém da ideia anterior, teve também como objectivo antever todos os processos e passos a \nseguir, de forma a que não existissem falhas no momento da execução do código. \nPor fim, e de forma a testar a montagem das placas dos módulos de aquisição e de \ntransmissão, elaborou-se um código de teste
