The LA Kings are starting to look like a contender again...with a 3-2 road win against the New York Islanders. That's their third win in a row. Winnipeg surprised Montreal 5-2. Carolina won by the same score over Pittsburgh. The New York Rangers cooled off Ottawa 5-1, San Jose over Detroit 6-4.
