Abstract
The object of the study was the psychological characteristics of the personality. The subject of the study was the psychological personality traits of people with inflammatory bowel diseases. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references (71 sources) and appendices, which includes forms of some of the methods used and descriptive statistics data. The volume of the master's thesis is 86 pages, which contain 12 figures and 12 tables. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, sets the purpose and objectives of the study, defines the object and subject of the study, formulates hypotheses, specifies methods and empirical basis, as well as the stages of research, the theoretical and practical significance of the work. The first chapter includes a review of foreign and domestic literature on the psychological characteristics of people with inflammatory bowel diseases. Sections are presented on models of psychosomatic symptom formation, the prevalence of anxiety and depression in people with inflammatory bowel diseases, alexithymia and intrapersonal conflicts as factors in the development of psychosomatic disorders and an integrated approach to the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. The conclusions of the first chapter are the results of the study of theoretical material. The second chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It describes the organization and methods of the study and the results obtained using all the methods used: Spielberger scale for assessing the level of situational and personal anxiety (adapted by Yu. L. Khanin), Beck depression Scale, Toronto Alexithymic Scale TAS-20, Test to identify the level of intrapersonal conflict (A. I. Shipilov) and a simple clinical index of colitis activity (SCCAI). The chapter also provides a comparative analysis of the Mann-Whitney U-test and a correlation analysis of the research results. The conclusions of Chapter 2 include the main results of empirical research. In conclusion, the results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work are summarized, conclusions on the hypotheses put forward, and the possibility of practical application of the research results is described.
