In a series that had been dominated by offense, it was pitching that led the Boston Red Sox to a 4-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday. Boston starter Rick Porcello went 7 innings and gave up just 2 hits and 1 run to the Toronto offense...meanwhile, the Red Sox' Hanley Ramirez continues to stay red hot. He hit his 10th home run of the season, a 2 run shot over the Green Monster in the 3rd inning. David Ortiz and Mookie Betts had the Sox' other RBIs in the win. Toronto starter RA Dickey was tagged for 9 hits and 4 runs in 7 innings of work. The Jays travel to Cleveland for a weekend series starting Thursday...the Red Sox host the Yankees starting Friday.
