Abstract
Awal usia 20 tahun seseorang dikatakan memasuki masa dewasa yang sering disebut dengan “emerging adulthood” yang dipenuhi dengan emosi negatif seperti seperti frustasi, panik, tidak memiliki tujuan, penarikan diri dari lingkungan dan merasa berada pada posisi yang sulit. Respon emosi negatif yang tidak diperhatikan dengan serius dapat menimbulkan krisis Jika individu tidak dapat menemukan solusi untuk menurunkan atau mengontrol emosi negatif tersebut, maka akan menimbulkan stress, depresi bahkan masalah psikologis lainnya. Krisis ini kemudian dikenal dengan istilah quarter life crisis yang memiliki gejala seperti kebimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan, putus asa, penialain diri yang negatif, terjrbak pada situasi yang sulit, cemas, tertekan dan kekhawatiran terhadap relasi interpersonal. \nPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat quarter life crisis yang dialami oleh santri Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Balirejo Yogyakarta. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh santri Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Balirejo Yogyakarta. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non-probability sampling menggunakan jenis sampling quota dengan 50 sampel. Data yang dihasilkan kemudian akan diolah dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis deskriptif. \nBerdasarkan hasil analisis statistik disimpulkan bahwa sebanyak 64% santri Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Balirejo Yogyakarta berada pada tingkat quarter life crisis sedang. Quarter life crisis yang dialami oleh santri disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor seperti insecure, dukungan keluarga dan teman sebaya serta tantangan dalam bidang pendidikan.
