Abstract
Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot ārstniecības personu optimisma, empātijas un empātisko rūpju saistības ar emocionālo izsīkumu un spēju to prognozēt. Korelatīvā šķērsgriezuma pētījuma izlasi veido 273 piecu slimnīcu ārsti, ārsti-rezidenti, māsas un māsu palīgi. Aptauja ietver skalas no Dzīves orientācijas testa pārskatītās versijas, Toronto empātijas aptaujas, Starppersonu reakciju aptaujas un Maslakas izdegšanas aptaujas – vispārīgās aptaujas. Pētījuma piecas hipotēzes tika daļēji apstiprinātas. Tika konstatētas statistiski nozīmīgas emocionālā izsīkuma negatīvas saistības ar optimismu un respondentu vecumu, kā arī optimisma spējas to prognozēt. Netika konstatētas empātijas un empātisko rūpju saistības ar emocionālo izsīkumu un spēja to prognozēt. Netika apstiprinātas māsu un ārstu-rezidentu emocionālā izsīkuma atšķirības no citām profesijām.
