Abstract
Det här examensarbetet är en systematisk litteraturstudie. Syftet med detta arbete är att granska förekomsten av skador på konstgräs och vanligt gräs. Arbetet baserade sig på två forskningsfrågor: ”Finns det skador som förekommer oftare på konstgräs jämfört med vanligt gräs?” och ”Finns det skillnader på när skadorna uppstår, träning eller match, mellan de två underlagen?”. I Finland finns det ungefär 500 000 fotbollsspelare och 400 planer, dessa planer är tredje generationens planer och är fyllda med gummigranulat. Bland spelare finns det en upplevd större skaderisk på konstgräs jämfört med vanligt gräs, därför valdes det att granskas om det finns skador som förekommer oftare på konstgräs. Metoden som användes för detta arbete var systematisk litteraturstudie. Syftet med en systematisk litteraturstudie är att skapa en helhetsbild över ett specifikt ämne, genom att samla in passande litteratur och sedan sammanställa resultaten. För att svara på forskningsfrågorna i arbetet inkluderades 11 artiklar. För att hitta litteratur användes följande databaser: PubMed, Ebsco sport, Academic search complete EBSCO och Science Direct. För att kvalitetsgranska artiklarna användes AMSTAR och Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. Slutsatsen i detta arbete är att det finns en högre risk för skador i nedre benet, vristen och ACL skador på konstgräs jämfört med vanligt gräs. De flesta skadorna uppstår under matcher och det finns inga märkbara skillnader när risken för skador under träning på konstgräs/gräs och under match på konstgräs/gräs jämfördes.
