Abstract
Le projet d’aménagement d’un petit lotissement comprenant, d’une part la réalisation d’une gendarmerie et de ses logements de fonction et, d’autre part des bâtiments d’activité à usage commercial, a fait l’objet d’une prescription de diagnostic archéologique. Bien que la parcelle sondée soit longée à l’Est par l’axe principal qui relie Périgueux (Vesunna) à Limoges (Augustoritum), certainement emprunté à l’époque antique, aucun élément appartenant à une occupation ancienne n’a été mise au jour.
