Abstract
The original Traugott Bagge House was constructed in 1787. This photograph shows an unidentified man on the house's Main Street steps. Traugott Bagge was the proprietor of Salem's community store. The original house was torn down around 1920 and in 1970 reconstructed to its 1821 appearance.
