Abstract
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross made an appearance at the White House daily briefing announcing the administration will impose a 20 percent tariff on softwood lumber from Canada. Secretary Ross said disputes with Canada emphasize the need to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). In addition, Press Secretary Sean Spicer answered reporter questions saying he doesn't know whether former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn broke the law or not.
